How We HelpedAt 45 and above the EP minimum is S$10,700 today. From 1 January 2027 it becomes S$11,500. The increase applies to new applications from that date; an application lodged by 31 December 2026 is assessed against the current, lower table. Thresholds are also assessed on fixed monthly salary — bonus, LTIP and variable allowances do not count, which at this level is where packages usually fall short despite a large headline number. We ran his actual fixed component against the table and set the submission date accordingly.
OutcomeApplication submitted in early December, assessed on the S$10,700 table, approved before the change took effect. His package was restructured to shift S$800 a month from bonus into fixed pay — a change to the shape of the package, not its cost.
